STUDIO WORK

WORKSHOPS WITH ENVISION UNLIMITED

Using her own studio practice as inspiration, Kayla Mattes led groups of Envision artists through a series of drawing exercises that explored geometric shapes, scale shifts, and color. These drawings served as a starting point for Westtown artists to design and create their own frame looms. The month concluded with the artists weaving into the abstracted cardboard frame looms.
