The Perpendicular Plaid Wool Pillows play with sun & shadow, vertical & horizontal, and the secondary effects resulting from the combination of primary elements.

These pillows are made from the same fabric as our latest Wool Blanket, our first to feature custom-dyed wools: last winter, we executed a series of highly-scientific dye tests here at TWM, dyeing many tiny bundles of wool different colors and arriving finally at a most elemental spread of the three secondary colors: Green, Purple & Orange. Not satisfied with such a straightforward palette, we elected to use two distinct base yarns in the dye pot: a clean bright white alongside a warm dark grey. We sent those little windings out to commercial dyehouse and they did a bang-up job translating our colors to the big lot of yarn using acid-leveled dyes. Our yarns are once again sourced from wool-growers on the Navajo Nation, a blend of Navajo Churro and other wool types.

The pillows feature our patented double-weave hinge-fringe in two styles: Innie and Outie. Choose from the dropdown to see images of each style.
